Terms of service
The responsibilities that come with using Talvess and installing it on your website.

Using Talvess
These terms govern your use of Talvess, operated by Aditya Ojha. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Talvess for an organisation, you must have authority to accept them on its behalf. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
Our Privacy policy explains how information is handled. Contact adityakodez@gmail.com with questions about these terms.
What the service provides
Talvess provides website traffic reporting, identifiable AI referral reporting, server-confirmed events, simple visitor funnels, and optional integrations. Features and availability may change as the service develops. A public demo uses Talvess's own website data.
Reports depend on the data received and the configuration of your website and integrations. Blocked requests, cleared browser storage, missing referral information, unsupported browsers, and service interruptions can affect completeness. A detected AI referral is not proof of every influence an AI assistant may have had. Unknown sources stay unknown, and a signup event does not establish a payment.
Your account and credentials
Use an account you control and keep access to its Google or GitHub sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity you authorise in your workspace. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Keep server event keys and integration credentials private. Put server keys only in your server environment, revoke exposed keys, and never embed them in browser code, public URLs, or support messages.
Your websites and visitor data
Install Talvess only on websites and applications you own or are authorised to manage. You are responsible for the data you send and for complying with the laws that apply to your website and visitors. Provide an accurate privacy notice and obtain consent where required for analytics, cookies, browser storage, and cross-site signup handoff.
Send signup events only after the account has actually been created. Use opaque event identifiers. Do not send passwords, payment card details, health information, personal contact information, or other sensitive data in page paths, campaign tags, or event identifiers. Cookieless tracking does not remove your privacy responsibilities.
Acceptable use
You must not use Talvess to:
- Break the law, infringe another person's rights, or collect data without the required authority.
- Access another customer's workspace or bypass authentication, ownership checks, or service limits.
- Flood the service, submit deliberately false events, introduce malicious code, or interfere with availability.
- Expose credentials or use the service to collect sensitive information outside its intended analytics functions.
If you find a security issue, report it privately through Support. Do not access or disclose another person's data while investigating it.
Your data and integrations
You retain your rights in the data you provide. You authorise us to store and process it as needed to provide, secure, and support the service, consistent with our Privacy policy. Using Talvess does not transfer ownership of your website or analytics data to us.
Google, GitHub, and other connected providers have their own terms and may change or interrupt their services. You control which optional integrations you connect. Disconnecting an integration stops new collection but does not erase historical records.
Pricing and paid services
Displayed pricing alone does not enrol you in a paid subscription. Any paid service requires an explicit purchase flow that identifies the price, billing period, limits, and applicable cancellation terms before you agree. We do not charge you solely for signing in or adding a website.
If we introduce or change paid access, we will explain the offer before asking you to purchase it. Contact us if you have a question about access or a displayed plan.
Availability and service changes
We provide Talvess on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete reports, or suitability for every use. Keep copies of information you need outside the service and do not rely on analytics as the sole record for accounting, legal, or other critical decisions.
We may change features, perform maintenance, or restrict use to protect the service. Where practical, we will explain material changes that affect your access. No uptime or support response-time guarantee is included unless we separately agree to one in writing.
Ending use and deleting data
You can stop using Talvess, remove its tracker, revoke event keys, or disconnect optional integrations. These actions do not delete data already received. Deleting a website removes its associated records from the active application database and cannot be undone through the application.
For account deletion, follow the instructions on Support. We verify requests before deleting accounts. Backup and operational-record handling is described in our Privacy policy.
We may suspend or end access for abuse, a security risk, or material breach of these terms. We will provide notice where practical, but may act immediately when needed to prevent harm or comply with law.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights, remedies, warranties, or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to limit. If a part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms as Talvess changes and will revise the date above. For material changes, we will provide notice where required by law. If you disagree with updated terms, stop using the service and contact us about your account and data.
